INFORMATION

1. This is a solo CTF event open to women residing in Singapore or Malaysia. Please register by signing up on this CTFd platform and filling in the Eligibility Confirmation Form (https://forms.gle/eFHFebXVNTfRZusW6). Please also select the "eligible" bracket on CTFd.
2. The flag format is described by this regex: /^HEX{.*}$/
3. There are a total of 12 challenges. One challenge will be released each day at 09:00 SGT within the period of 1 December 2025 (09:00 SGT) to 31 December 2025 (23:59 SGT). All challenges will be announced on the STAR Labs blog and can be accessed through this CTFd platform.
4. For announcements, hints, and challenge related support, please join the Discord server at https://discord.gg/zbS2s2tJAh. Hints will also be released on this CTFd platform.
5. Prizes for this event are cumulative (players will get a share of the prize if they clear a certain tier):

• All 12 challenges solved: Prize pool of S$1000
• 11 challenges solved: Prize pool of S$700
• 10 challenges solved: Prize pool of S$400
• 6 challenges solved: T-shirt, pin and keychain
• 1 challenge solved: Exclusive event t-shirt

RULES

1. This is an individual CTF. It is forbidden to share flags, solutions, or seek help from others during the event.
2. Do not attack the competition infrastructure. Please report any vulnerabilities to us responsibly.
3. Brute-forcing, performing denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, and other unethical, illegal or disruptive behavior is strictly forbidden.
4. Flag hoarding is not allowed.
5. Posting flags and write-ups online during the competition is forbidden.
6. You are not allowed to publicly post write-ups or discuss the solutions until HEX ADVENT 2025 officially ends on 31 December 2025, 23:59 SGT.
7. The organizer reserves the right and discretion to select prize winners, modify challenges, rules and other competition details.
